A Journey to the ‘Throne Room of the Mountain Gods’
Saturday 21st March
An illustrated talk by Jane and Alan David.
In June/July 2025 Jane and Alan David travelled to Pakistan to trek in the heart of the Karakoram Mountains to a place called Concordia, also known as the ‘Throne Room of The Mountain Gods’. This is an awe-inspiring location surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountains on earth, including K2 the second highest mountain on earth, and three other peaks over 8,000m high.
Tickets will be available here soon at £15 each. Price includes food.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the running costs of Bonsall Village Hall.

Bonsall Village Hall
Situated in the heart of Bonsall village, on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire, our hall offers spacious rooms across 2 floors, a well equipped kitchen, and a mixture of modern facilities including WiFi and digital projector. It is an ideal venue for clubs, parties and community events.
We can accommodate a maximum of 120 people in the village hall – 70 people in the ground floor room and 50 people in the first floor room.
There is street parking for several vehicles outside the village hall and the village has a large car park close by.
