Nepal Flood Fundraising Talk
Saturday 17th October 2026
Chris Broome and Alan David will be giving an illustrated talk in the Village Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday 17 October, about the area of Nepal that was devastated by the catastrophic flood that occurred on the 26 August. Chris and Alan travelled along the valley of the Trishuli River, where the flood occurred, in October 2014 when we were on our way to trek in the nearby Langtang region. This region was also severely affected by the major earthquake that occurred in April 2015, just 6 months after we were there.

Bonsall Village Hall
Situated in the heart of Bonsall village, on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire, our hall offers spacious rooms across 2 floors, a well equipped kitchen, and a mixture of modern facilities including WiFi and digital projector. It is an ideal venue for clubs, parties and community events.
We can accommodate a maximum of 120 people in the village hall – 70 people in the ground floor room and 50 people in the first floor room.
There is street parking for several vehicles outside the village hall and the village has a large car park close by.
